Ten more Tawny Owl nest boxes are finished!
Last weekend I spent some time setting up another 10 Tawny Owl nest boxes in the forests around here. This makes 20 Tawny Owl boxes in total now. The first ten came up three weeks ago.
After a lot of work, I am of course curious about the progress with the nest boxes. And today I saw the first Tawny Owl in one of them. I only checked five of the first boxes. Imagine my surprise when a Tawny Owl looked out of the second nest box. Quite fascinating that the owl had moved in after only three weeks.
